ABSTRACT |
Transitional cell carcinomas of the bladder are extremely rare tumors in children. We report a case of papillary transitional cell carcinoma in a 10-year-old boy presented with gross total painless hematuria. Bladder ultrasonography showed a papillary mass of 1.0cm size in bladder and we performed transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TUR-BT). Histologically, the tumor was a solitary and low grade papillary transitional cell carcinoma without muscle invasion. (Korean J Urol Oncol 2009;7:137-140) |
