Abstract |
Metastasis of muscle invasive bladder cancer directly affect survival rate after sugical removal of a primary lesion. The most frequent sites of metastasis were regional lymph node (90%), liver (47%), lung (45%) and bone (32%). Adrenal metastasis was found in 14% of patients with urothelial carcinoma on an autopsy study. Adrenal metastasis occurred late in the course of disseminated cancers, but isolated or solitary adrenal metastases were very rare. We reported a case of the solitary adrenal metastasis with urothelial carcinoma of the bladder in a 56-year-old male. (Korean J Urol Oncol 2009;7:46-49) |
